| CES Research Groups in progress are: Globalization
Studying globalization — the
increasing speed and extent with which goods, services,
technologies, people, and ideas now cross borders — in the
context of European integration.
The Globalization Research Group organized a one-day workshop at Princeton University in 2007 on Europe and the Management of Globalization. For more information, contact Sophie Meunier.
The workshop "Europe and the Management of Globalization", organized by Wade Jacoby and Sophie Meunier, was held on May 24, 2008 in Park City, Utah. The workshop schedule as well as draft papers are available here. The workshop was co-sponsored by the CES Working Group on Europeanization and Globalization.
On behalf of its members, the Council would like to welcome Professor David Brady, Sociology, Duke University and Professor Jason Beckfield, Sociology, Harvard University who will lead the Globalization Research Group starting Fall 2008. Researchers who are interested in joining the research group should contact Dave Brady at brady@soc.duke.edu.
