CES Conference Travel Grants

CES Conference Travel Grants support trans-atlantic travel for junior faculty and graduate students already scheduled to present at the Council's International Conference of Europeanists.  Those who are awarded a CES Conference Travel Grant will receive a cash grant of $500 and a waiver of their registration fee, resulting in a cumulative grant value of as much as $725.  They will also be recognized in the conference program and on the Council's website.

The 2012 recipients of the Council's Conference Travel Grants will be chosen by lottery from a pool of eligible presenters who are currently affiliated with and working at an academic institution located in Europe. This pool will be made up of graduate students and junior faculty (i.e., rank of Assistant Professor or below) who have already been selected for inclusion in the conference program and who have expressed interest in being considered for the grants program. Awards will be announced no later than December 10, 2011.
